People who shop over there or live in the area would probably care what stores they'll be able to frequent.

How about people that moved to Seattle but are still obsessed over malls that are being built in the Valley?

Ruth's Chris Steak House? Yeah, because so many Milennials are turning into heavy meat eaters. Not.

The San Fernando Valley really needs to suceed from the city of Los Angeles already. I'm tired of all these waste of time post about The Valley like as if us city dwellers care about what happens in exburbs 50 miles away. No one who lands at LAX is going to make the drive out there. Tourist are already to lazy to explore DTLA as it is.

The problem is that everybody (almost everybody) knows that the Valley is a cash cow for the City of Los Angeles, more money flows from the Valley to COLA than comes back. The Valley has tried to succeed and got a majority approval from Valley residents, but the measure failed because those outside of the Valley voted it down.

This is one of those things that will never succeed. The Valley is stuck with LA for good or bad. You won't let us go.
