Hello, everyone:

I am planning to drive from LA to Edmonton with my cousins and I need advise on the road trip that I will do this thanksgiving break. We are going to go to a family reunion. I'm overhauling my route plan to travel to Edmonton, like where we could stop, so any advise on my road trip.

I need advise on the routes on what me and my cousins will use. I also want to know how many days we need to take a road trip there. I checked the directions on Google Maps and the route that they gave me was not accurate or not the route that I wanted. We are also planning to take stops in Seattle and possibly Vancouver. Also, the weather, road conditions, etc. I've done a road trip to San Francisco last month, now this time I'm going to Edmonton.

Any advise on this road trip?

Seattle would be out of the way, but if you go there and also Vancouver, you can hit up Kelowna and Banff on the way to Edmonton.

Should I skip Edmonton. Can i make it in 3 days or no? Leaving the first day on a Tuesday, early night? Returning Saturday Night from Edmonton?

Does 5 go to Edmonton? Im considering that route only going to Seattle, which is my optional stop. Im going to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and i seem to find that 5 takes you way off.

5 freeway is LA-Seattle

How about the route that goes all the way to Edmonton from Seattle? Consider that part. Any scenic route there, which is based on what I heard?
