There are like 9800 officers and only 100 vaccinations . I definitely wouldn't wait for the government to get a vaccination if I was an officer .

It is a breeding ground for disease like the officer below mentions .

----
In the middle of an outbreak of hepatitis A, members of the Los Angeles Police Department say they are in danger.
The union representing members of the LAPD say the needs of the department aren't being met. They were told only 100 vaccinations could be made available to the LAPD.
LAPD Officer Dion Joseph, who has been patrolling the streets of Skid Row for nearly two decades and is working with an increased number of homeless people and illicit drug users called it a breeding ground for disease.
"This is a health and safety issue," he said.

That is a sad story. HepA vaccines are ~$75 a shot and requires a 2nd booster shot. Due to their occupational hazard, it would seem every officer should be vaccinated while in the Police Academy.
Something is a little off with this story, vaccinations are typically covered or subsidized by insurance (usually a $10 copay at a local pharmacy). I also thought the LA dept. of Health and Human Services conduct free clinics to give out HepA vaccinations, due to the recent outbreaks. I wonder if the union is trying to get it for free or something, causing officers to wait for it. Since this is not an unknown risk, they could have made this a higher priority when they bargain for benefits.

Only way to kill a walker is to go for their head. LAPD must have figured that out by now.

City has put aside common sense .

You can thank Dubya too. Seven years into his Presidency, he visited the border and proclaimed, "Hyuk hyuk, this here border is out of control!" Yes, you read that correctly -- it took that moron SEVEN YEARS to figure out we had virtually no control of our borders. In fact, KABC's Doug McIntyre used to jest that Iraq had better border control than the U.S.

It's funny how the left has become enamored with Dubya since he started trashing Trump

We know the whole Bush family is still bitter over Jeb's YUGE loss .

I'm so glad we didn't get another Bush dynasty nitwit to run as a pre-packaged "conservative", as was planned by the Bilderberg Group. For the atheists out there, Trump is proof that there are higher powers and the U.S. has providence's favor.
