Lots of Angelenos coming out to the Antelope Valley to snap up homes. Covid-19 has been the primary cause of this latest wave. I was an Angeleno who arrived here 35 years ago during that wave.

That ship has sailed. They have discovered the IE. I always assumed the torrid heat in late spring, all Summer, and well into Fall along with the colder-than-the-coast Winter temps and the hellacious Northeast winds would keep their numbers small. That's what I get for ASSuming.

Haha, yeah. I think the IE has been discovered. The question is: Does it compare, like some might expect, to the Upper East Side in Manhattan? If not, you see, it must have no intrinsic worth.

Interesting, isn't it?
What's really interesting is COVID-19 = Traffic 1950
Traffic is WAY DOWN. Maybe that is driving people to consider living farther out.

I live in the city of LA and my home is now worth 16% more than it was last year at this time. In my neighborhood there are very few for sale signs, so I imagine most people are sticking around.
