No, in Socal terms, 15 miles, I woult take highway to Brentwood not to Beverly Hills, the main problem from Brentwood to the Palisades by surface street if you take Sunset. The views in the canyons between the Valley and Brentwood/Bel Air are really impressive, also the jams!!! But is not a huge distance in Los Angeles, both are in the Westside, one in the coast end of Westside and other in the northend of the Hills, but can be considered both as communities of Westside section of metro Los Angeles.

No. Is your home going to be in S.O. and work in Pacific Palisades and if so, why?

That's crazy on the parents part, but if you will be living with the parents it won't be too bad, but a lot of your time will be driving and in traffic. Have you taken this job, and if you have I guess it doesn't really matter what kind of a drive it is. It is what it is. Good luck and get some good music to listen to.

In the morning it could be, in the afternoon it will be better. Do you have to do the drive to school and to pick up? Most parents would have had their kids go to Brentwood School which is much closer and far superior to Buckley but that isn't your problem. Do you have a problem with the distance?

yes i have to do the driving and pick up.i don't really have a problem with the distance. i keep asking questions because i'm just curious and thank you very much for answering my questions.when you said most parents would have had their kids go to brentwood school,do you mean parents from pacific palisades? BTW they just moved in PP from sherman oaks and they don't want to disrupt the kids schooling so this just temporary.BTW how close is brentwood school from PP?

April, It would be much easier if you would private message me and then I could get into more details with you. But to answer your immediate question, Brentwood School is in Brentwood which borders Pacific Palisades so it would take about 15 minutes to get there. I understand not wanting to disrupt the kids schooling though.
