I've always used Super Shuttle. Never had a problem with them any where I've lived in Southern California.

I've used Super Shuttle a couple times as well, but I'm not sure I'd classify them as "cheap." There's also Prime Time shuttle, and the LAX Flyaway bus.

Not sure where you live (your profile isn't populated) but Ventura County Roadrunner is good especially if you live on the eastern side of Ventura County, the Conejo Valley, maybe Calabasas as you would be the last one picked up and the first one dropped off.
