Not long ago there was a thread over on the Great Debate forum about women in the military. It has now been pushed back to page 3 or 4,but at the time it drew a huge number of responses. Many of the same arguements, pro or con,can be applied to women in law enforcement. My opinion,in both situations,is that women should not be placed in dangerous situations in the name of political correctness and/or to push a social agenda.

In my opinion women should have to do every test the male has to do, no lowering the strength test, no decreasing pushups, etc. There are many stories where Use of Force (UOF) comes into play and the woman can not control the suspect because of lack of strength.

I'm fine with women wanting to be police officers and military but the standards should be the same all around. A 6'8 320lb suspect isn't going to just come out and say oh your a woman I'm not going to hit you as hard.

LOL, a fellow Choirboy fan. I didn't expect anyone to bring that book up on here. Great book by the way, very true and funny.
