Anybody out there ever rent a hybrid at LAX?
Who has the best selection? Price? Availability?

I'm looking to rent an Escape or Highlander hybrid. Prius too small for us.

Why? How many miles do you expect to put on it? Are you going to save enough in gas of offset the higher rental cost?

Not sure if this will help, but try to populate a Yahoo car rental profile with rental codes. You can get codes at

What cost is really higher? The price of gas or higher auto emissions. I try to rent hybrid when I can not nesessarily to save on gas but to put less pollution in our air
