Was he as good for Los Angeles, as he was for NYC? In NYC, he did wonders, and brought the crime rate down substantially.

yes, he was greatly liked. he brought the crime rates down and shortened the gap between police and community (it still exists, but relations are a lot better). he will be missed. i cant think of anyone who has anythign bad to say about him (aside from those opposed to special order 40[reporting crime without fear of deportation/status questioning], but thats not his doing).

its sad to see him go.
