Hi there,
I'm hoping for some advice..... I'm a 22 year old british girl currently working for as an assistant producer for a sports television channel. I'm hoping to turn freelance at the start of next year and therefore hoping to travel with my work. I would LOVE to be able to work in LA for any amount of time I've been looking into this for the last couple of weeks and it looks tough but doable. I'm just wandering what the next best thing to do is.... I already have an I-visa which lets me work for british companies in the US (as I have worked on jobs in Las vegas before) but I don't know whether to:

- Go on a holiday and see if it will be feesable to live/work there in a couple of months time....

- Save enough to live for like 6 weeks and see if I can get a job with a british production company or if an american one will sponser me.

- Or apply for a job within an american organisation and hope they will hire me??

Any advice would be much appreciated!

xxxx

It gets pretty rough round there regardless of how expensive it is. I do love Portobello market though and when its Carnival.
