Husband has a job op in Houma and were looking to find the best area to move to without a long commute. We have lived in CA so we are used to driving an hour to some places. I was told the luling/destrehan area is good but I can't find any places to rent. I was looking into the Gonzales area but Im not sure how long the commute is. We need to be near community colleges with 2 college age kids and 2 high school age kids. Schools are important! Im from New orleans area so I know more about the city but not the surrounding areas. Where can I find homes to rent in any of those areas? I am having a hard time finding anything online with the main sites, i.e. realtor, rentals etc.
