Is anyone renting their house out for the Ryder Cup? A neighbor of mine is making her house available for the week and I might do it myself if it's not too much hassle. I was looking at Accommodation for the Event but I'm not sure if my 2 bed house would be suitable.

I notice houses listed on craigslist.com for the event as well. Perhaps if you contacted one of those, they could give you more info.

Craigslist doesn't work for house rentals. Too many realtors use the site for free advertising and too many false ads to make it worth your time. Best would be to use a rental service or the event may create organzations that can serve as intermediaries in renting houses during the Ryder event.

That said, Louisville's craiglist maybe hasn't been overwhelmed to the point of being worthless like it has in bigger cities. Once the predators notice the site as having significant amount of readers, it goes south quickly. It seems to happen to housing first; then cars.
