Is there anything similar to buying fruits and veggies fresh from the farm somewhere close to Lubbock?
I have friends living on the east coast and they are sooooooo into buying fruits and vegetables right offthe field.
Can anyone recommend something like that for Lubbock?

Local Harvest should be able to help you find something.

There is a farmers market on south Slide Road where local farmers and gardeners sell fresh vegetables.

I've been wondering about that farmers market on Slide Road. If I ever move back to Lubbock, I really would like a nice big farmers market. Has anyone been? How is the selection? Is it all really grown in the immediate vicinity?

Funny. I thought they had a location closer to 4th Street. Must be thinking of some other place. But I knew there'd be something in southwest Lubbock. Do they have fresh cauliflower, by any chance?

When I looked on Local Harvest above for Lubbock, I found several farms, some of which deliver, in Lubbock.
