This is good news for Macon-Bibb School, it is a trend that I hope will continue...
Quote:
Bibb County’s graduation rate showed a similar increase, from 71.2 to 71.6 percent, with Howard High School showing the highest rate, at 83.8 percent.
Across Middle Georgia, Houston County went from 84.9 to 86.7 percent; Jones from 78.4 to 85.9; Monroe from 87.8 to 88; and Peach from 82.8 to 91.
High school graduation rate on a national level is at an all time high of 82%. 41 NBC has a program segment on the local news station, 41 WMGT news, that comes on at six in the evening once a week every Monday which is called What's Right With Our Schools. The program segment highlights the importance of progress in different school districts throughout Middle Georgia. One thing for sure is that a good education goes a long way. Other countries are becoming a lot more innovative. When it comes to solutions that are on the verge of the threshold dealing with science and technology. This is why I am loving these schools now that have S.T.E.M accreditation. In the United States of America. Education, crime, and economic development all tie in when measuring the quality of life in a local municipality.
