Hi there!
I was wondering if there was anything kid friendly to do in Milbridge, Maine? I have a four year old daughter to keep busy and happy. Are there any nice beaches close by or parks where kids can play? Our Summer retreat is located on Rays Point. Also whats the weather been like lately? Here in Ct it's been so hot and nasty like jungle weather!

Thanks for any helpful ideas!

Lori

Rays Point is very beautiful. I don't know if you are on Back Bay or Flat Bay. Milbridge has Mcchellon Park which is good for hiking and a picnic. Go to Rough Bluffs Stae Park for swimming in the pond or going to the ocean acrss the street. In Winter Harbor go to Scoodic Pennisula which is the quiet side of Acadia. No crowds. You can take a ferry from Winter Harbor and go to Bar Harbor and avoid the traffic plus the ocean trip is nice. Jones pond in Goldsboro is a clean area with bathrooms and picnic areas and a playscape. This is all close. Bartlett Winery is great to go see for the free win tasting. What cottage on Rays Point? wRITE TO ME. sEND PICS IF YOU CAN BMD2853@AOL.COM
