Well, you know it's usually the 2nd or 3rd day after sugery that the real aches and pains hit. I figured that's the stage she's in. I pm'd her, but haven't had a resonse yet - unlike her.

Get well soon, M!

Sometimes it's not even the aches and pains as much as zero energy the first few days home from surgery. She's probably rejuvinating through sleep.

Hey there. She had a surgery on Friday - nothing major of concern - has been on since, but yesterday and today seems to be noticeably absent. I'm guessing we just made her laugh too much, which can be painful after surgery, so she had to take a leave from us for a day or two!

Red face you guys are sweet....

Thank you so much for all your wishes and prayers and such! TODAY is the last day of this particular pain med--it's almost worn off now, but I'm supposed to take another one at 9. It makes me loopy--can't hold a cognitive thought if my life depended on it. And typing takes twice as long because of that plus the fact that the fingers don't seem to be connected by any neuro-pathway at all. Frustrating to say the least AND I didn't get to see Corgis and Dramamama at all--I knew that was a long shot, but I was still hoping for some way that might work out.

So, I've been watching old Northern Exposure episodes on DVD. The weird surreal feeling you get from some of those episodes matches how my head feels so it's a good combination! I'm on season 6 right now, and that's the last one, so it's good timing as far as finishing the shows and finishing the 12 hour pain meds. I will warn you, I have to rest for the next 6 weeks...so maybe it was good you guys had this little "break" from my posts--you'll probably be wishing some 12 hour meds on me after 6 weeks!

I did read through some of the posts, and we have some new folks contributing to the forum! How SWEET is that?! Gotta love it!

Take care....and hopefully I'll be back here tomorrow with a clear head and nimble fingers! Thanks you guys--you're sweet!
