Now is your chance folks. There will be a Project Appleseed event on June 29/30 in Monmouth which is directly on Route 202 around 12 miles southwest of Augusta. It's at the Monmouth Fish and Game Club. They have a covered range in case of rain and they feed a good lunch. This is a two day event. Details are here:

Appleseed Schedule

Bring sunscreen and bug dope, just in case. Send me a message with any questions you don't find on the web pages. This is a family event open to Moms and Dads. If your children can focus on details and follow instructions they are welcome. You and your children both will learn history you were never taught in school. The story is not just some old time tale. It is about the founding of our country and it is an adventure story, a mystery story and a heartbreaker in some cases. People ask, "Why didn't they teach us these things?" Why indeed? You will have to answer that question for yourselves.

We don't speak about todays's politics or today's politicians. The only politicians we speak about are those who were alive on April 19, 1775. Want to learn where the Revolution actually began? It wasn't on Lexington Green.

The events of today are amazingly close to the events of 1775. We don't tell you what to think. We tell you the real history of 1775. How do we know these things? Our forefathers wrote it all down for us.

The day after the battle, John Adams walked Battle Road and saw the carnage. There had not been time to bury the dead. They were too busy with the wounded from both sides. John Adams wrote to Abigail Adams:

"Posterity! you will never know how much it cost the present generation to preserve your freedom! I hope you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in Heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it."

Come out for a weekend and reconnect with our history and heritage.
