There might be the possibility of seeing the Northern Lights tonight, even as far south as BAR HARBOR. We plan on heading out at about 10:00 PM to see if we can see them over the water on the Eastern Bay, on the northern part of the Island.

Hiked up Spruce Mtn in Rockport, didnt see anything though, although the north sky was cloudy when we were up there at about 7pm.

Was nice and warm for the time of year.

Clear skies on Mount Desert island. At 10:45 PM, and the Hadley Point Beach which gives a clear view to the whole Northern Sky(Weast all the way to east across the Eastern Bay), there was no Aura Borealis. You could see the northern lights of Ellsworth pretty well, but they don't have any color.

Not going back at 2 AM to check again.
