Last week the guilt of a messing and cluttered house was really getting to me,
so I tackled the task.
I have minor things to do around the inside of the house so that's good.
I probably need to wash the bathroom floor.
I was "lazy, and didn't do that when I washed the "things" in the washroom.
I even washed down the washer and dryer. Just not the floor
Other then that, I am guilt free.

DH and I watched the shuttle go up from our backyard. We're about 2 hours north of Cape Canaveral.

Well I will have you all know that I just completed another home project. As some of you may have read here on this forum, I just finished repainting and laying down some pergo flooring in our bedroom and my office.
Today I put plastic over the windows to winterize ....you know those kits you buy at Wally world...they actually work great once you put the hair dryer to them, you don't even notice they are there.

Finished up on the plastic and then I hung curtains....yes CURTAINS...and I am a MAN!!!!! A man hanging curtains and yes I am straight as an arrow.

Now I'm taking the rest of the day off

I,too, am addicted the conversation. (even though I'm a newbie). I have very little free time with 5 boys, 3 of which I homeschool, and 2 that act like mini-tornados. Not to mention housework (do you know what boys can do to a bathroom) So if I am on this forum, that means I'm goofing off, but I get to read and talk about my favorite subject, Maine. Thankyou everyone!

I'm going to go act responsible now

I'm procrastinating everything - each, every and all chores. I'm sitting here like a lump watching the high winds and rain outside. The corgis are also procrastinating - they are sleeping beside me. Mensaguy is also procrastinating - he's playing computer games. We're all a bunch of lumps taking up space in this world today. Now tomorrow, we'll play catch-up on our chores ---------maybe.

I think it must be the day.. I have NOT been procrastinating, but what I am doing it like pulling teeth. I took down edits for the book project, page by page, verbally over the phone this morning, and this afternoon, while waiting on the museum director to get more page content back to me, I have been working on edits and layout for one of my books that I want to take to press by the end of the month.

And it is all I can do to sit here and grind through it, though I don't feel like doing anything else either.

Got beans in the oven baking and numbers painted on one side of our new mailbox drying... but they are procrastinating, and I know they will need more coats so I put a little light on them to see if it will heat them up and bit and encourage the paint to dry.

So I guess you could say I am sitting here waiting for the paint to dry...

LOL

Speed the drying up with a blow dryer Star. That's what I do when I have to add many layers of glaze and color. Works great!

I'm pretty much a slug today too. After working our butts off in this livingroom last night, all I've managed to do today is have coffee, check email, check C-D, eat lunch, let dogs in and out, and make a list for the grocery store, and now check C-D again.

We've got a high wind warning for the Cape this afternoon, so I don't know that I'll trot off and shop today. Maybe tomorrow. lol

Maybe I'll hook some of my new rug today. Or maybe not. ha! Now shower I think IS on the agenda. That might get me moving!
