hey everyone,,,,,,I want to move to a harbour town,,,,,,water, boats, seafood, small town,,,,,,new england area........I have never visited this area, but am pretty certain there is a place there for me,,,,,,,,,thinking Maine,,,,,maybe Georgetown? Can anyone give me some ideas, hints,,,,,advice? I'm from illinois and am sure of this,,,,,,just have no clue where to begin..................PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!! lol

Hi Terry welcome to the forum,

Maine has a number of nice harbor towns to choose from. From Wells Beach to Calais and everywhere in between. Since we know nothing about you (except you're 45, straight, and single) or your needs we cannot tell you which place might be a fit.

Yes, catch a plane, rent a car and vacation up the coast. Get an idea of what does and does not tickle your fancy.

Plan a trip to come in February/March, and another during the summer months. If you can find a coastal town that appeals to you in both the off- and on- seasons, investigate it a little more!
