Pisses me off that this state can't seem to handle its money. There are so many projects that would be great for the people, but we have no money for them.

So is O'Malley really gonna be "on our side" or not?

I suppose that depends on "who" you are. He is definitely not on our side out here in Western Maryland.

I'm a middle of the road fellow. I want more jobs to come to Maryland (instead of losing out to Northern Virginia), and I want the Purple Line built. The jobs thing is the biggest issue though. This state needs to be much friendlier for business, because our 'competitor' (Virginia) is kind of kicking our ass.

Don't forget our other competitiors DE, WV, and PA. Out where I live, you go to WV to find Cumberland's exclusive new suburb, and up to PA or down to VA to find the remaining manufacturing jobs. You go anywhere else if you want to buy cigarettes. Our state is too small and we have too many neighbors to think we can just tax our way out of the spending problem.

The title of this post is pretty derogatory.

It got your attention though, and that was the point can't say I have anything against the Irish.

O Malley is a socialist. He is the most liberal of the liberal...he is on the opposite spectrum of what I represent, which is liberty...

I'm sure the response would've been the same had you not used an oudated but offensive slur. This mixed mick ain't mad at you but please choose your words more carefully next time.
