If only there was a way for people who didn't want to wear a mask to vote by mail.....
Now that would really commoditise voting.......

He strikes me as the kind of guy it might be fun to follow around for a day, just to see what other kinds of trouble he gets himself into.

Hmmmmmmm....what about something like the old "smoking section" in restaurants. You have a closed in room for the maskless voters, and a big open dining room, er voting room, for the masked people?

Except you still have to have voting officials in there who shouldn't have to be exposed to unmasked voters in an enclosed space..
I think he would have found a problem with that solution too.

Smoking sections always felt like trying to have a chlorinated and unchlorinated sections of a pool. I remember the little signs on a plane that said from row 20 back was no smoking. It was a joke.

I liked Digger's line about maskless people being able to vote by mail, LOL.

I still can't believe PA still has a law that prevents any mail in or early voting ballots from being counted until Election Day. For crying out loud they had months to change that, at least for this election. As PA is one of the key states it is ridiculous that we won't have a final count for days after the election.
If the White House cannot stop the leaking, how do you expect all the vote counting to remain leak free? You know that, if the counting took place before November 3rd, someone would try to affect the voting by saying they had information that candidate X was way ahead in early voting, whether accurate or not.

The best way to circumvent that is to not count at all.

In person voting has long lines here, anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour I have heard. I drove past my polling place twice and the line was out the door and around the sidewalk both times, so I drove home. I'll give it one last shot tonight.

Dropped off my mail-in ballot on 10/8. Received notification that it had been registered on 10/14. This morning SBOE notified me that my local board had counted it.
If I were a red voter in Md, I would not be happy with that.

Good thing you're not in charge then.
