I live in Attleboro and I'm considering changing jobs. I want to know if anyone currently uses the Attleboro commuter rail. Are there seats available at the Attleboro stop? I don't want to make this switch if I have to stand all the way to Boston.

I don't ride, but believe Attleboro is the third or fourth stop into the trip and one of the preceding stops is TF Green Airport which probably won't have a lot of travelers. There should be seats available.

I took the train from that stop for a very brief period (maybe a couple of months) about seven years ago or so. It was extremely easy finding a seat on the train back then. Gas prices are much higher now and train ridership is way up but as Tam pointed out Attleboro is pretty close to the beginning of the route so I would imagine it's still pretty easy to find a seat.

I used to take the train from Mansfield which is one stop after Attleboro and never had a problem finding a seat. Granted, this was quite a few years ago and I'm sure ridership has increased since then but I don't think you'll have any problems.
