I know this may sound strange , but I do have a reason for asking: Has it been raining in Boston any time in the past two days, particularly today? Thanks so much. (Yes, I know what the internet web sites say about Boston today. I also know that don't always reflect what is actually happening. Like they will say it's raining in my city -- at the very moment I'm looking at the weather site -- but it's not raining in my city, hasn't been raining and there is no forecast of rain. )

It rained hard yesterday, today just a few sprinkles. I believe we are supposed to get rain tonight.

It was drizzling ever so slightly in the financial district this morning until around 9AM I think. Wasn't even hard enough for me to flip the hood of my raincoat over my head though. Can't tell you about yesterday - I don't live in Boston and I don't work on Sundays. You might get more responses from the Boston forum. Most (if not all) the regular posters on this forum live in the suburbs and few even work in Boston.

I think it rained off and on Sunday daytime. Low, dark clouds the rest of the day...

On Monday, a little rain, I believe. It was muggy with dew points around 65, which is high for October. Now, it's crisp with dew points in the 40s. Thank goodness,

I know what you mean: sometimes it says Boston has rain when it's not raining or may have ended more than an hour ago? It may only be updated hourly, not realtime.
