Hi, fiancé and I are trying to find a place $600 ($120 a night) or less for 5 nights.

Having trouble findin anything in the area or with reasonable driving distance. Considering camping, but we're only familiar with camp area's around the Falmouth/Sandwich area of the Cape.

Appreciate any recommendations can give.

North of Highland (in N. Truro) is a good campsite that many friends of mine have liked. Try other N. Truro options (i.e., cheap motels, etc.).

I stayed at a hotel there for around that price last June for a few days. Breakwater motel it was called. They had a bus that picked you right up in front of the hotel and dropped you off in town as well.

Male couple? Or mixed gendered couple?

There are some male only houses that can be almost that cheap.

Consider the hostel in Truro. They do not host groups, one of the few that do not. It overlooks a nice beach, a 5 minute walk. You can take the Plymouth and Brockton bus to Ptown, or even rent bikes, it is a good 12 mile ride. The bus stop is a 2 mike walk from hostel, but it is fairly easy to get a ride from one of the guests. There is a grocery store at the bus store, so you can cook your own meals. Wait, you probably have a car, so it is a piece of cake. There are mixed dorms and a common room. People are real nice and friendly, many people from abroad. July is peak season so Ptown is pricey. The hostel has a website and check out reviews on sites.
