hi,

How do I get to tewksbury from Boston with no car? and no sarcastic responses like walking or running.

I might have a potential job there.

Thanks

Depending where the job in Tewksbury is located you could take the Lowell commuter line from North Station Boston to Tewksbury. If the company has a shuttle, you may be able to use it between the train station and the office. Otherwise, look into taxi services in the Tewksbury area or possible bus lines in the Lowell area that go by the location.

Do you mean via public transportation? The best might be a train to Lowell then Lowell Regional Transit Authority as I believe they run a bus from to Tewksbury from Lowell. I suppose one might could train it close to Tewksbury (Wilmington, Andover, etc.) then take a cab. Not sure if any train line has a Tewksbury stop.

Doable, maybe. Feasible, I doubt it.

Tewksbury is probably one of the worst places to get to using public transportation inside of 495. I wouldn't take the job unless the employer offered a shuttle or if you purchase a car. Tewksbury does not have a commuter rail stop though there are some nearby in Billerica and Wilmington.

There are some LRTA buses that you could possibly take a look at. It's still not an easy commute though. http://lrta.com/schedules/route-12-t...train-station/

I've spent time in Tewks. When we head into Boston for sports games/concerts/etc, we usually cab it to the Wilmington or Lowell commuter rail station, and then take the train into North Station, and then either walk or cab it to final location

Is this a daily reverse commute or a job interview coming up from NYC?

Not a realistic commute without driving.

It would be a pretty bad commute even if you did have a car.

I think you should reevaluate this job opportunity. I don't think it will be very good for your quality of life. Unless you can move up there.
