Hello Friends,

I got a job in Attleboro, MA. Can you please suggest good places to live around Attleboro (around 15 miles)?
My daughter is 5 years old, she goes to kindergarten school.

Please suggest apartments with good school district & Indian community.

Any suggestion/help/guidance is much appreciated.

Thanks
Deepa

Possibly North Attleborough. Decent schools, some apartments.

Attleboro has some nice parts but it is more urban than most of its neighbors and faces issues that most cities have. the surrounding towns of Norton and North Attleborough are a bit more suburban. Norton is more small town New England with Wheaton College located in its center. It is a very nice town but is most single family homes with some condos. North Attleborough is larger population wise with a much more suburban feel. It contains Route 1 which is the main shopping area (Emeral Sq Mall along with all the big box retailers) for the region and has a varied housing stock (single & multi family/condo/apartments).

Thank you for your suggestions. I have North Attleborough on top of my list.
Are thr any more options? I don't mind traveling to work (around 10-25 miles) if I get a good locality for staying.
My budget is around 1400-1700$ (for a 2 bedroom apt). I am looking for areas' with some Asian-Indian population, so that my family settles in.

I appreciate all the help & suggestions I am getting here!

No Attleboro, Plainville, Mansfield. You you will find Indian populations in these towns. All have housing options. There is a good size Indian Market, that opened recently in No Attleboro.

FYI - Patel Brothers, an Indian Supermarket chain recently opened a grocery store in North Attleborough on Route 1 across from the Emerald Square Mall.

Wow, that's a sure sign of a good sized "desi" population nearby. Patel Brothers is very strategic about where they open locations.
