Hello,
My family just relocated back to the area and are staying with relatives while we house hunt. Looking in Burlington and Woburn. Inventory is still pretty low. Looking to spend under 500k which is a tough budget.
If anyone on here is planning to sell soon or knows of someone selling soon please let me know! We have looked at countless houses and continue to do so every week until we find a home! Need 3 beds and atleast 1.5 bath preferably
Thanks!

Just went through this recently ourselves, albeit with a slightly different budget. We were looking in the fall, and thought the inventory was low then, but I'm surprised this is still the case as we head into prime season. We ended up in Woburn, after losing out on a great condo in Burlington to a buyer who came with cash.

Crazy market out there...good luck in your hunt!

Just curious, what has been "wrong" with the countless houses you have seen so far? Is it not enough space, style, location, etc.
It seems like the spring market has not totally taken off yet. In general though, you should be able to find a home in Woburn for under 500 that is nicer than what you would get for the same money in Burlington. If you have kids, the schools in Burlington are considered better. Good luck.

I heard recently that there were 100+ visitors to a so-so, $500K house in that area each day for two days in a row. Good luck with that sort of competition, lol. That is worse than SoCal. Be prepared to get into a bidding war and increase your budget. Or settle for less house.

You could look at Wilmington or Billerica too. It might be easier if you expand your search.

If you expand your search to Wilmington, you might have better luck finding something! You are right, inventory has never been this low since they started keeping track! Good luck

With a budget under $500K, you may want to look at Billerica or Tewksbury. Can't imagine you'll find anything satisfactory in Burlington or Woburn.
