Which Mass town or city do you 'Slow down in' when you enter? Because of perceived or in reality: local aggressive traffic enforcement.

Sharon,Brookline,Chatham,West Bridgewater, are towns as soon as i enter, i watch my speed as in , i wont even go 5mph over.

Incidentally, i have never received a speeding ticket. A warning once on Route 25 going 62mph in a 55mph zone.

My experience is in Central MA: Holden, Paxton, and West Boylston north of Worcester. South of Worcester, I would say Douglas, Sutton and Sturbridge are most notorious.

I slow down when 290 turns into 395. I would guess that's around the Auburn/Oxford line. I've never gotten a ticket in Massachusetts or New England for that matter. Knock on wood!

Watertown, MA. I had a job there years ago and when I first came on board my boss warned me about the cops which I thought seemed odd. I ended up living there for a year and indeed I did get pulled over a few times for speeding ever so slightly over the limit and one time I had expired plates I think it was. I was pulled over around the block from my house and my car was towed. I pleaded with the 22yr old cop to just let me drive home and that he could follow me but he showed me no mercy. Then I had to go to court over it.

I did get a seat belt ticket over there (cop pulled me over for being in the wrong lane at Watertown square).

Maybe you missed the thread title and this post was an oversight. But yikes! I'm sure New Hampshirites would just love seeing their state described as a Mass. town.
