Any recommendations for lawyers in the Boston area to create a revocable trust fund, will, power of attorney? We don't have any of that stuff. We have life insurance through work but will also need to get our own outside of work.

Ask your neighbors or friends. Typically there are a couple in every town that specialize in that sort of thing. It's fairly simple to do as lots of it is boilerplate. The important thing is the attorney knows what you want to accomplish and asks the right questions.

I will send you a link for the Trust part. Today with technology as it is you can get it done in the comfort of your home saving you money. Yes I know the critics will come out of the wood word so if you want it you can have the same info.

An educated decision beat an emotional decision all day.

Just understand that one typo or other omission/error in the document the software produces could invalidate the entire thing.

Matt

What you want is Legal 101 as in it so basic, any sober attorney can do it and many could do it while drunk. While not a lover of attorneys, I use them for such just to sure my a$$ is covered.

One bit of advice on a will, is be sure your two have worked out who (on two levels) gets what. As in all to my son but to whom if my son dies before I do.
