A 20yo fisherman, Hans Brings, while night fishing for sharks on the beach in Mashpee, wound up catching a huge tarpon, 5-6ft in length! This is an odd web page, but there are 3 short clips here that seem to play at the top of the page.

An incredible catch - that's a real southern fish, mostly found in Florida and found with some regularity still in North Carolina. But fish and shellfish have been gradually migrating to more northern climes due to climate change - this is another, spectacular datapoint. I don't think young Mr Brings will ever forget that night!
