I think Glenn Beck's program covered it some, and it was brought up on this MA forum before. Other than that, there hasn't been much about it lately.

So, a bill to enable planning and action in the event of a pandemic is making its way through the legislature.

What's got you so excited about it that the media should drop everything and cover it? Is there opposition? Is it badly drawn? Is it stalled?

It is a bore to read, and even the OP didn't bother to summarize it, just dumped the whole bill on us with a link.

You have my attention, now what's the point?

I don't listen to Glenn Dreck.

Synopsis: The government can intrude into your private home without a warrant and force you to take medical treatment against your will. That's called Tyranny.

basically, here is what it says

The government can forcibly intrude into your property and place you under arrest without a warrant for not getting a mandatory vaccine even if you do not have the flu already and force you and your family (children included) against your will to take the vaccine from NOT QUALIFIED DOCTORS, but simple thugs hired by the police. Furthermore if you manage to resist taking the vaccine, they will place you in jail for not taking it and give you a 1000$ fine each day until you take it. They can also quarantine your home and even completely destroy it if it is deemed "necessary" to public health. Any person who allows the gov't to use his/her property to force these vaccinations on people will also be granted immunity from the law for anything occuring on said property. All this will be done on command by the commisioner who will be granted complete and total power over MA, and will be allowed to make decisions without any sort of vote.

in that one little paragraph MA managed to destroy nearly every right guaranteed to every american in a 36-0 vote in senate that WILL be signed by the governor of MA. this isn't a bill to guarantee the safety of the public, this is a bill that will make martial law and absolutist dictatorship legal. still think that this is the "right" thing to do?

Nothing new about this, in the early 1900s it was detrimined that public health > civil rights.
