We currently live in Hingham and will soon be active retirees. What is the good, the bad, and the ugly about Weathervane in So. Weymouth?

I noticed no one answered so I thought I would offer up the little I know. I know of 2 homeowners- one couple and another 2 sisters who bought in Weathervane. I have not spoken to them in quite some time but all loved living there and raved about it when last I saw them. The couple spend summers between Weathervane and Cape Cod and winters in a very active social community in Florida. It does seem to attract a well healed crowd. My inlaws mentioned recently they know numerous people who have moved there and really enjoy the community. All the people they know enjoy active lives and travel extensively as well. It would make sense as the layout of the development seems to promote "knowing your neighbors" and I would think people would be apt to look out for one another, giving people a certain comfort level when they leave their home for extended periods.

Sorry I could not have been more help than that. The development really is lovely and very convenient to route 3 and shopping in Weymouth.
