Summer is here and it's glorious, with exciting and beautiful things to do in New England.

I pledge to:

1) Visit the ICA on the waterfront and have a meal at the Waterfront Cafe.

2) Go to Brimfield in July and lose myself in miles of antiques.

What's on your "Must Do" list this summer?

Cruise around Cape Ann on my Lund 18 on a languorous summer day. On the way, Anchor up in Rockport Hahbah, have lunch, a gimlet and smooch my GF. Dig some clams and steam them open on the grill. Pick a fat juicy tomato and slice it up served with basil, hot pepper and olive oil, maybe a slice of soft mozzarella. See/hear some music outdoors.

Take the ferry from Gloucester to P'town.
Walk out on the flats at Good Harbor beach in the late afternoon.
Go to Singing Beach
Go to Plymouth and shop in the British grocery store and take my dh to see the Mayflower II
Pick wild blueberries at an undisclosed location
Make my dh play wiffle ball with me on the beach
walk my dog all over the place
there's a lot more

We did the same thing last year except the house was in Orleans. I'm jealous, I would love to go back this year. Go to Mac's Shack in Wellfleet for dinner, it was a highlight. My nephew loved going to a Cape Cod League game and he and his sister (5 and 7 at the time) LOVED the Edward Gorey house.
