Default How long is a trip from Boston Airport to Wellfleet

We'll travel from France to Boston in June and must join Wellfleet by car on a Saturday.
How long does it take from the airport ? One flight arives at 3 PM and the other one at 6 PM (much cheaper !)

As he said, easily 2 hours.
Saturday evening in June you may hit some traffic on Rt. 3 south just before the canal but back ups aren't that bad incoming since the flyover was constructed.
You should allow yourself 2-1/2 hours just to be safe.
Allow more time when leaving the Cape in summer on Saturday or Sunday. Backups can be brutal on Rt. 6 heading off.
Call MA Smart Traveler for traffic updates. From a cell phone it's 511 or

Thanks, and do you think there's a difference in the traffic between 4 pm an 7 pm ?

Don't forget the Sagamore Bridge construction. It SHOULD be don't by June, but we all know how that goes. Saturday is "flip day" on Cape Cod. Traffic at both the Bourne and Sagamore Bridges is worse than on a Friday evening. From Boston, I'd count on a good 3-4 hours if there's no construction, accidents, etc.
It's about and hour and a half from my house to Wellfleet, and I'm already on-Cape. Add Saturday morning traffic coming from Boston/NY/NJ/CT which is all trying to funnel over two bridges and onto Route 6, better bring refreshments and a deck of cards.

I agree with Cathy. It could take 2 hours just to get to the bridge from Logan, and a minimum of 1 hour. Wellfleet is pretty far out, so you have a good 1.5 to 2 hours on route 6 once you cross the bridge.

By the time you get through customs and passport control, and rent the car, it will be at least 4:30PM.

Traffic can be pretty bad in June at the bridge so, even though it is only 105 miles it could take 2.5 hours if there is a back up at the bridge.

With no traffic you're talking about 2 hours. It takes about an hour to get to the Sagamore Bridge from the airport and maybe 45 minutes at best to get down to Wellfleet from there but you'd have to be hustling. 2 hours is accurate.
