A "B52"? Can they fly up to a 30th floor? Condos usually have less bugs, but that doesn't mean that they have none. One of the biggest centipedes I'd ever seen was in a condo in Aiea. Although, that was a ground floor unit, so it's almost like a house, one would think. At least, from a centipede's point of view.

Keeping bugs at bay is usually a multi-pronged approach. Window and door screens are sort of the first line of defense. That won't stop them all, nor really stop ants, nor cockaroaches which come in by hiding inside boxes and things.

Ant & roach poisons are good, boric acid powder mixed with whatever the bugs are eating is good. I don't think boric acid is very poisonous to pets and people. Putting a line of diotomaceous earth around house footings keeps a few ants out.

Some, but not all, cats are good at catching bugs although they also catch the lizards that eat the bugs. Geckos and lizards are good at the small bugs. For what it's worth, centipedes will eat cockaroaches, although I think I'd rather have the cockaroaches.

It probably took the elevator via a box, piece of luggage, or service cart.

Hopefully I don't become enough of an expert to know one way or another. However it got there. It got there. A year or two ago I posted about it and it's resilience to drowning and being crushed in a towel. I finally gave up and let it go.
