Hi!... thanks for reading. I got offered a good job in Maui... but I'm not sure what it's really like to live there. I'm from southern California, love the outdoors, beach, water, etc... so the Maui land itself is extremely attractive to me. My concerns are, straightforward and I hope to get some straightforward answers: 1. I'm 29 years old, single, female, and am in a professional field. It's hard enough to find guys in los angeles in the same kind of demographics... how about Maui? 2. Even though I'm Asian, I'm attracted to Caucasian men... what's the ethnic breakdown really there? US Census numbers I see, but other websites numbers vary quite a bit. and 3... I'm afraid of getting bored. I'm not really into crazy nightlife anymore... but is there at least some basic entertainment options? Couple different sports bars, music shows here and there, bowling alleys... that are not part of the tourist parade? oh and lastly... how's traffic there? (i'm really trying to escape the traffic here...) thank you SO much in advance!

You will have to start doing some local stuff - surfing, windsurfing, kayaking ...
