Naw, the hearsay that all who watch Fox think women are pigs and whores is just that, hearsay. Most of the viewers would not agree, and half of them are strong, working, independent women.
well, the strong, working, independent women would be thinking firing somebody over something he said 10 + years ago is just ridiculous.
Plus, Jr. was right, "For comments made on the “Bubba The Love Sponge” show. Obviously a serious policy show where no satire would be made. "
Transcripts from 2006-2011 where he was a guest on Bubba the Love Sponge radio show, he said a few things that were/are misogynist and now the SJWs are calling for his head.
He refuses to play the 'ritual contrition' (his words) game, and good for him. Someone had to put a foot down eventually and refuse to get on bended knee every time someone digs up free speech or free expression in their past.
But that's why everyone is shrieking to get him fired. He's already hated by the SJWs and they think (probably rightly so) that FNC will sack him if they gripe loud enough.
There is a show called Bubba the Love Sponge, seriously? I thought that was a joke.
Carlson gets owned quite a bit and it is funny. There is this crossfire episode that Jon Stewart blew him up and then there is a video out there of a Dutch historian who got him to lose his s*** by calling him a millionaire that works for billionaires.
Carlson thinks he is smarter than everybody. When he gets squeezed by somebody smarter than him he can't handle the truth and then melts down. It is fun to watch.
What am I missing here? I rarely watch Trump TV but I know that Carlson has been a fixture there for years. I can't see why he would be fired unless he stepped on some major toes. So what's the story behind this?
There are some recordings making the rounds that suggest he could be a liability for the network.
If he showed some remorse or apologized for the comments I might agree with you. But he doesn't think calling women c***s and whores is anything he should apologize for. And apparently, neither do you.
Neither do I what?
He shouldn't apologize for something he said years ago. He showed up in a stupid show and said something questionable. If he apologized, that means he thought he should be fired. forget about that.
Plus, he already said it, "“Media Matters caught me saying something naughty on a radio show more than a decade ago," Carlson said Sunday night in a statement provided to The Hollywood Reporter. "Rather than express the usual ritual contrition, how about this: I’m on television every weeknight live for an hour. If you want to know what I think, you can watch. Anyone who disagrees with my views is welcome to come on and explain why.”
