Public broadcasting does often come across with a fairly lefty vibe, but like The Economist, it’s usually at least sober and well-considered, lacking the sensationalism of cable news (yes, you too, Fox).
As far as that quote, it probably would have been well for her to not say Trump specifically. There’s a grain of truth in there that the media is supposed to hold politicians - including the president, any president - accountable.
You forgot one word in that sentence...…."down". Trump talks DOWN to other people, as if they are beneath him and have no right to ask him any questions. There is a difference between talking to people and treating them like dirt...…..and that is what Trump does.
Unfortunately, some of his followers think this is cute and shows strength, when it actually shows how fragile his ego is and how weak he is.
No, he absolutely does not talk down to "people". This is funny because IMHO, it's not hard to find real things to be critical of, and this is not one of them. It violates the very reason he's so popular with all the 'regular' people. He talks plainly to people with no pretense. He only talks down to those who have been rude to him. And he does that ruthlessly.

Says someone who doesn't watch the daily virus task force briefings! Our President stands up there from one to two hours everyday answering every question asked. Presstitutes are too busy looking at their phones to pay attention so they don't know their question has already been answered.
If the presstitutes weren't such aggrandizing egomaniacs and asked the damn question instead of lecturing the President of the US to get their 'gotcha' moment, Trump wouldn't need to expose them to the audience of millions watching these briefings.

I saw these tag team tactics in action at today's briefing. Three different presstitutes asking the same question and smirking when one of their fellow presstitutes re-asked it. Trump answered it the same way every time! Sean Spicer used to handle the hacks with "Asked and answered." Trump should do the same.
This is a good education for people who thought the media was honest. They can see the fake news in action now with their own eyes. Media suicide: It's a beautiful thing!
Stop making excuses. Reporting should not be getting together to gang up on someone. Reporting should be just that, reporting the news. This person is nothing more than a SJW posing as a reporter.

For example, they want Trump to say something that they can use as a headline to smear him. Trump refuses to fall into their trap and then you claim he is not answering their question.
