The free press is under attack like never before, and the rightwing in this country don't want tough questions asked of Dear Leader, they want to be lied to, and there are plenty of outlets willing to do just that.
Haven't we seen this take place in our own country during the Obama years. The biased media was and still is clearly on the side of the Democrats. Obama received so many passes on his questionable policies that it is ridiculous. Imagine if Trump was behind Fast and Furious, or Benghazi , or even the current scandal of weaponizing the DOJ and FBI against political opponents. It was all downplayed, spun and buried.
If it was found that Trump wire tapped Bidens basement and had the DOJ and FBI geared up to destroy his candidacy it would be non stop coverage and we would all be wondering what happened to the Corona crisis.
What happens to the media after a radical regime seizes power? The media becomes an arm of that political party that actively spreads their propaganda and agenda.

Yea, I totally understand why the press wasn't attacking him, he was not a pathological liar, didn't welcome foreign interference in our elections, plus, he was a pretty cool dude.

Fast and Furious was just plain stupid.
Benghazi was a full on debacle that I believe was a major factor in Hillary losing the election in 2016. It never sat well with voters that Hillary and Obama played politics while the embassy was under attack and how they left our people out there to die. And of course the follow up lies about some stupid video being the cause would have been an impeachable offense for a Republican.
If Trump was President then do you think he would have cared how the Gov. of Libya felt about us flying into their air space to rescue our people?
If you don't think a sitting President using the DOJ and the FBI for his own gain and to investigate a political rival isn't a major scandal then I don't know what to say to you. Oh yeah Obama was a cool dude alright but sadly he was just as crooked as the rest of them with the only difference being that the media protected him from the fallout.
The media is heavily biased to aide the Democrats and help them to advance their agenda and that is pretty radical.
