I "liked" Trader's Joe's to Memphis" Facebook months ago. I shopped at several Trader Joe's when I lived in California. There is definitely a need for Trader Joe's in our community.

Many who want an alternative or healthier choice seem to find Whole Foods' location in near East Memphis or maybe Fresh Market around the corner in Eastgate accessible enough from all around the city and county, so that area should work. (IMO)

WANT A TRADER JOE'S? READ THIS!!!!!When I relocated to Florida I was not happy there was no Trader Joe's. So I took it upon myself to send them a note requesting a Trader Joes in Sarasota. If you go to there site you will find a spot that says " Request a location". I filled that out monthly and told them why, where, etc. Guess what? We now have a Trader Joe's in Sarasota. Took a couple years of me hounding them, but it's here. One would have thought they would have gone to Tampa or Miami first because of being central but nope, Naples and Sarasota were the locations they chose first so they do listen to the requests!
I would have picked a better location in Sarasota than they did but at least they are here. So mark it on your calendar and send them a note once a month

Fresh Market is in the 38139 area and does very well.
Anything but another Kroger- and we'd especially appreciate a specialty grocery.
