My son and a couple of his coworkers are looking to rent a3 bedroom apartment and due to how close the ones on Mud Island are to their work, they've begun looking at those. I'm used to the suburbs, but have been hearing from others about safety concerns down there. I thought it had been posted here as being pretty safe before, but not good for being able to shop. Now I'm being told of people moving out of there like 1.5 years ago because of all the car break ins and murders. Has it changed that much or is it a good possibility for them? I know Arbors Harbor Town is one possibility on their list if that helps.

If it is a guy with 2 other guy friends, he'll be more than fine. My fiance lived there as a single female with no real issues.
