Doggie Day Care and Boarding?? (Memphis: rentals, crime rates, house)

I will be moving to Memphis, and am looking for a place that come highly recommended for Doggie Daycare! As well as cageless boarding. Does anyone have any recommedations?

Also while I am posting. Any ideas on short-term rentals (3 months) in a safe area within 20-30 minutes of St. Jude. I am coming to do a 3 month training fellowship at the hospital and would love some recommendations for living that is pet-friendly!

I have seen a guest home located in Cooper-Young, the FEMA house? Anyone heard of this?

You want to be sure and check out the crime rates for the areas you are looking at. Make sure whatever you rent has bars on the windows and a good security system and a garage so you are not walking outside any time of day.

I don't know what a FEMA house is, although my connotation of it is not good! What exactly did you see that you are thinking of renting? Do you have an address?

Petco does doggie daycare. I've never heard of cageless boarding, if you find it, please post!

Brown Lodge and Dogs Rule. There is also something downtown but I can't recall the name of it.

It's called Doggy's Daycare at 184 Auction Ave. Just did an online search for it, no personal experience with this place.

I happened to be calling around today for boarding for my dog, and found a place that sounds nice, and does not have typical boarding cages. They have a couple of different boarding options, and day care too. I am going to stop by and take a look. They are a few $ a night higher than most places, but it sounds like it might be worth it.
