If you had to pick between these two, which would you prefer?

Mercedes: $137,500

Oh God the G wagon is based on a military vehicle from the '70s- I just shake my head at the idiots who purchase a car with decades old engineering. Yes, it's a tough truck with good capabilities but it still is a truck from decades ago with a drag coefficient that will stop it at about 85mph. The new Range Rovers are beautiful and extremely capable, but I agree with the poster above about their renowned reliability problems, I'd lease one for 3 years, but never buy one even if I could afford it- I'd go for the MB AMG 63 wagon in a heartbeat over either, and just a good Jeep Wrangler unlimited if I really wanted to do some 4-wheeling.

I'd pick the G63. But I'd prefer a GL63. I have a GL550 and love it..........

No way I'd want to daily drive a G-wagen so Range Rover I guess.

Given those 2 choices and the budget, I'd take an X5M in Black Sapphire.

I would take either one and trade it ASAP on a diesel X5 or Cayenne TDI!
