Did you read who these "victims" were? This was one criminal cartel killing members of another criminal cartel. A few were prison escapees from a week ago. They were not innocent civilians.

Quote:
All 35 victims, who included 12 women and two minors, were linked to the Zetas cartel, said the official, who couldn't be quoted by name for security reasons.
Quote:
"The killing of 35 people is deplorable, but it's even more deplorable the same victims chose to extort, kidnap and kill," Veracruz Gov. Javier Duarte wrote via Twitter.

A homicide, is a homicide, is a homicide, no matter who the perps or victims were, here, MX, Europe, anywhere.

The victims were kidnappers. murderers, etc., who are killing each other off. I imagine the people who have been kidnapped will differ with you about the value of the lives of these terrorists. Nobody shed any tears when the U.S. gangs and mafia were killing each other.

The point I was getting at ( that you missed ), was that even if it's cartel members killing cartel members, it's all still homicide. Whether it be bad guys on bad guys, or innocents caught in the crossfire. This whole, "well they are just killing each other" thing, doesn't mean a thing, it's all murder, and it all counts. If you were out shopping and you saw a cartel dropping 35 bodies in the street, would you think "Hey, they are just killing each other, I'm completely safe, I'll just go on about my day."

yeah right.

Do you think families in South Central Los Angeles, in the early 90's felt completely safe when the Bloods and Crips were going nuts? I mean, after all, they were just killing each other right? I'm sure they felt fine...

Where did I write that the murders were not homicides? Maybe you missed that or you are reading words that were not written.

The gangs in Los Angeles were shooting at each other within neighborhoods. Innocent people were in the crossfire. The cartels kill each other away from civilization and drop the bodies in public to be found. Innocent people are targets of kidnapping, shake downs and/or ordered to pay protection money by these thugs, huge ransoms paid for kidnapped loved ones and the victim is killed anyway.

Yes, criminals killing other criminals counts in the murder tally, but the people murdered in this case and in 99.9% of the cases are dangerous thugs, not foreigners or law abiding Mexican citizens.

You might feel shocked and sorry for them, but I feel sorry for the innocent victims they injured or killed. Several of the murdered men had escaped from prison a few days earlier. Who knows, it might not be a cartel killing but cops going vigilante because they are tired of trying to peacefully and legally catch them and then they escape or are not prosecuted.

You are contradicting yourself.
