We bought a new car in Guadalajara in Sept. 2017 Honda CRV. New car dealers in MX post their prices on their website...there is none of that haggling crap like in the US. This is the dealer we used; very professional. We were able to charge it on our credit card with just a 1.7% fee......loved the convenience and the miles on our airline card...great exchange rate and our card doesn't charge international fees.
Right now it shows the newer 2018 Honda CRV at 405,900 pesos or, at today's rate of 19.60 USD that comes to 20,709 USD equivalent. It includes taxes, prep and delivery, and a full tank of gas!. But not local licence tags, registration.
