I was thinking that maybe we should create 2 stickies, one for events, and another one for discussing life in Mexico in general, what do you think people?

It's been very busy here this Easter week! The Bucerias beach was literally covered in tents - hundreds of them! The main hwy (200) all last week was packed with cars - it's slowed down a bit but not before I saw many, many pickup trucks packed with folks and their gear headed back home. Many more are staying this week but the fiestas seem mostly calmer now. It was pretty crazy at the Nuevo Vallarta condo (Mexicano y Americano duenos) - parties going on into the wee hours of the morning. One person was even building *something* - hammering away until 2 in the morning! So many big happy families gathered at la playa playing soccer and swimming in the surf. The one thing that drives me crazy (have written about it often) but in many cases there are so few entries to the beach throughout this area for the average Mexican to gain access. I guess we all know the reason why but it's a shame when huge hotel and condo complexes take precedence over the average Mexican citizen. (That is one of my pet peeves)
