Yesterday I saw a program called Elite world cops hosted by Chris Ryan
a former British soldier who was a member of the Special Air Service
In the show, 'Ryan' spends time with various law enforcement agencies around the world, giving him an insight to the war on terrorism and drug trade but from a law enforcement perspective.
The coverage on the elite Mexican Police "Policia Federal" is stunning, he shows how they are trained, and the level of skill and technology these guys posses, watching it gave me hope regarding the current war on drugs, I highly recommend it if somebody can watch it, try googling for it.

It was a good episode. I like the series overall. Kudos to the brave men and women of law enforcement in general.
But I think "winning" the "war on drugs" needs more than just some elite police units. The problem is much deeper than that.

What war TF? We both now this is an exageration of the world news. You can compare this war with the U.S. when someone is investigated and their home is searched for drugs. The difference is these types of investigations often start out in the street. I met a lady here who lives in Tijuana and says the border is so peaceful as it has never been before. She doesnt even hear of the violence anymore. In any case, I still want to watch this special report. It sounds interesting. Thanks for the info.
