We will be in Miami on vaca next weekend and want a dinner with a 5 or more course, chef driven tasting menu. Looking for really eclectic stuff, any suggestions please??

Azul at the Mandarin Oriental is probably my favorite restaurant here in Miami. I haven't been there since they got the new chef a while back, but it is one of the best dining experiences, from the presentation of the food, to the taste and the staff, here in Miami in my opinion.

There is a pretty good Tapas place in Miami Beach on espanola way. Its not a true tasting menu but of course tapas are basically the same thing.

Also August is Miami Spice Month, so most of the nicest places in town willl have $35 3 course menus sure its not exactly what your looking for and the food choices are a bit limited BUT you can eat and the most expensive places for just $35 a person. I am pretty sure its the whole month of August so double check on that.

As for a true tasting menu I have no clue. L

We went with Pascal's on Ponce. AMAZING!!! $68 per person for 5 courses. Highly recommended!
