Its really petty crap and I hear it almost everyday. You know your not a superficial person when you dont think any of that little stuff matters.

Are you serious? I hope you're kidding and dont hear people judging people and not liking people because of the clothes they wear or the bag they've got. Please tell me it's not that bad.

Yes it is people will always find reason not to like you. A lot of kids at my new school dont like me because my headphones are too big. Heck people dont even like my roommate because they think shes too skinny. They could just sit there with their friends and compliment ((well insult)) everyone that walks past them. I dont think it has something with being real or fake I just think it has something to do with having no manners.

Dunno if that's a Miami thing as much as it is something that women do.

Thanks! You made me feel smart for finally making the move to move out of Miami after living here my whole life, almost 49yrs! Both my kids, college educated at New England colleges, along with my nephew, have moved north after graduation, there's nothing for them in Miami, other than some friends and family. Finally, this empty nester is leaving the nest!!

I thought the same thing LOL - the issues people are having in Miami are things that happen across any metro city in America and quite possibly the worl - YES com it happens in Orlando too - I was in Walmart last week and a young girl was talking about what this guy in her school was wearing and blah blah blah. Welcome to the 21st Century - this is how it is every! Even in Birmingham Alabama - so let's not all act shocked at the shallowness that may or may not take place in "MIAMI" - please spare us all the mellow drama - it is so tired!

You get what you give off - if you are not a really nice person - people will not treat you very nicely! End of story - when people are mean to just you and not everyone around you maybe it is time to take a look at yourself and decide if you are playing a part in that or not.

^^^ Chelsa, I respect your opinion, etc. We all know shallow people are everywhere. I think the problem is how many legitimate complaints and horror stories we see and hear about the people in Miami compared to other areas.

Chelsa while what you say is true there are also people who will take your "Kindness" for their advantage and when they no longer have use for you they will dump you and treat you like **** and there are a lot of those people here
